Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to provide support to B2B business and lead market facing interactions for various segments –in a way that would ensure achieving the business’ growth plan – by directly leading segments sales team across segments and product categories, and indirectly supporting overall business. This is a critical role that would enable creation of a strong differentiator for the client in Myanmar and establish Business as a key Enterprise operator.

Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

Key responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed the B2B business commitments as defined in AoP, specifically Gross additions & Acquisition revenues
  • Define and create segment wise Go to market strategy
  • Set Budget / forecast / sales targets for teams in a logical but stretched manner
  • Customer Ownership - Quality of sales and overall Customer satisfaction – during and post sales process
  • Owner of Go to market activities of all B2B Propositions
  • Responsible for delivering as per customer expectations in a competitive market scenario

In more detail:

  • Have a strong and clear understanding of B2B market and associated processes and ways of working
  • Develop clear and consistent Go To Market strategy for each segment in the B2B market with a mix of Indirect and Direct approach
  • Recruit, retain and develop an effective team. Provide clear definition of roles, responsibilities, individual goals and performance objectives. Provide strong leadership, coaching and guidance to the team
  • Build and lead a motivated B2B team – including Training and development of sales team members
  • Cross functional alignment and ability to work closely with partners and vendors
  • Provide all channels with clear guidelines on communications - Setting and driving alignment to standard operating procedures across all sales channels
  • Define and execute the B2B market acquisition strategy across Mobile, Fixed line services and ICT solutions
  • Ensure credible and continuous market feedback covering technology and competitor activities
  • Manage and track sales and related KPIs on performance of B2B fixed & mobile services
  • Owns the B2B Propositions Portfolio and works on availing differentiated propositions on a segmented level

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Understand the Myanmar telecommunication market, with emphasis on B2B
  • Strong communication skills. Ability to interact with high profile customers
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • High level of professionalism and confidence
  • Experienced in executing Segment based Strategies and Operational plans
  • Successful track of managing teams directly and indirectly
  • Experienced in complex sales, conversions and tailored offerings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years marketing experience in Telecom sector
  • Past experience in mobile and/or fixed marketing / Sales / services proposition development
  • Excellent writing, reading and presentation skills in English language
  • Corporate level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, official e-mailing and computer skills, etc.
  • MBA is a plus
